Description
This is the 5th and final lesson for the Theories of Language, Learning, and Teaching continuing education certificate.

This lesson expands on the preceding sessions to further consider language issues most important for teachers within sociocultural contexts. Focusing on the relationship between language acquisition theories and classroom practices, you will engage with the underlying issues within contemporary SLA theory and practice to acquire a deeper perspective on the subject as lifelong learners. Upon completion of this lesson, you will receive a certificate of completion that fulfills the 45-hour English Language (EL) requirement for professional teacher license renewal from the Colorado Department of Education.
