Description
This is the 3rd lesson in the Theories of Language, Learning, and Teaching continuing education certificate.

This lesson focuses on second language learners’ (L2) social and academic language needs. You will investigate research and practice needed in integrating and developing four language skill areas at different grade and language-proficiency levels, including special learning needs. You will plan and provide instruction that systematically integrates language and content/culture based on the evaluation of students’ language needs.

There are two books required for this lesson:

2. Between Worlds: Access to Second Language Acquisition by David E. Freeman & Yvonne S. Freeman
